Hole 1 – Par 4 – 458 Yards

The 1st hole at Royal Liverpool could play as the trickiest opening hole on the Open Championship rota, particularly if the wind is strong. The majority of competitors will be content with making the par 4 on this hole. Competitors will be aware of the several new bunkers that flank the green on both sides.
