Stuburt signs Graeme McDowell
Stuburt has followed up its launch into the golf apparel market and signing of European Tour rising star Gareth Maybin by adding Ryder Cup star Graeme McDowell to its team
Stuburt has followed up its launch into the golf apparel market and signing of European Tour rising star Gareth Maybin by adding Ryder Cup star Graeme McDowell to its team.
McDowell joins fellow Ulsterman Gareth Maybin and Darren Clarke, as well as ladies European Tour stalwart Trish Johnson and the list of other high-profile professionals choosing Stuburt as their preferred choice of golf footwear, rainwear and now clothing, on tour.
The agreement sees McDowell, who replaced Tiger Woods at the Chevron World Challenge last week, become an ambassador for Stuburt and wear the new range of technical performance golf products on tour.
McDowell enjoyed a great 2008 season, which included victories at the Barclays Scottish Open and Ballantine's Championship in Korea before making his debut for the European Ryder Cup team at Valhalla.
In 2009, he enjoyed top-20 finishes at The Masters, the US Open and the US PGA on his way to finishing the season ranked 51 in the world and 33 in the Race to Dubai rankings.
Stuburt plans to showcase its new apparel collection alongside its award-winning footwear and rainwear at the 2010 PGA Merchandise Show, Orlando, in January.
