Garmin Approach G6 GPS launched
Garmin, the global leader in satellite navigation, has announced its latest GPS device for golfers

Garmin has announced the launch of the Garmin Approach G6 GPS golf device at the Consumer Electronic Show in Las Vegas.
The Garmin Approach G6 GPS is a slim device that weighs just over 85 grams and comes preloaded with over 25,000 courses from around the world.
It is also fitted with an internal rechargeable battery that promises up to 15 hours use off of one charge.
The Approach G6 also keeps track of a player's stats throughout their round by recording fairways hit, greens in regulation and putts per round. These stats can then be reviewed on the device or downloaded onto a computer.
Players will also be able to enable a feature allowing them to select a club and then calculate average distance yardages, particularly handy if you are tackling a new course and need to know which club to hit.
The Garmin Approach G6 GPS will be available from February 2012 and has an RRP of £329.99.
