We round up some of the views of the last tournament of the Desert Swing of 2015

Andy Sullivan

Golf Monthly’s Andy Sullivan was paired with Rory McIlroy and Martin Kaymer for first two rounds and admitted at the end of the first day: “It was an absolute pleasure and it took some - not pressure off - but I didn't really look at the leaderboard today, I was just watching those guys play golf. You watch them on the telly, winning Majors, playing in Ryder Cups and then you're playing with them, and then to play the way I did, it's just an unbelievable feeling - one of the best days of my life.” If Sullivan carries on playing like he has been recently, then he will be playing alongside the like of McIlroy and Kaymer regularly. Maybe even as team-mates in the Ryder Cup side?

Bernd Wiesberger

Bernd Wiesberger lead after the first round of the Omega Dubai Desert Classic. The Austrian is in a rich vein of form at present and his eight-under-par opening round of 66 meant that he had gone a total of 46 under par for his past 11 rounds having carded 68, 69, 72, 65, 66, 71, 69, 66, 68, 68 and 64. However this excellent run of form has yet to yield a victory as he was sixth in Abu Dhabi, third in Qatar and tied fourth here in Dubai after he followed up his 66 with rounds of 69, 70 and 70.
