After winning eleven tournaments this year, including the 2011 Ricoh Women's British Open, Yani Tseng has been extended an invitation to play in the PGA's Puerto Rico Open.

Sidney Wolf, the tournament's general chairman, revealed that he plans to offer Tseng an exemption into the 2012 event to be played in early March.

Wolf said: "It would be a great honour to have Yani play here during the celebration of our fifth anniversary of the Puerto Rico Open. She has the length to compete."

Tseng told reporters at the Suzhou Taihu Ladies Open in China she was ready for the challenge. Tseng said: "If an opportunity presents itself, I would like to play in a PGA tournament to learn more from male golfers.

"I wouldn't care about the results because I'd just want to enjoy the feeling of playing with guys and learning from them to further improve my skills."

In her career so far, Tseng has won eight LPGA tournaments, including four Majors,

the 22-year-old from Taiwan also captured the 2008 LPGA Rookie of the Year
