Ryder Cup song unveiled by Martyn Joseph

The Welsh Sports Hall of Fame event in Cardiff tonight will honour Ian Woosnam for his golfing achievements, with singer/songwriter Martyn Joseph unveiling a special song for the 2010 Ryder Cup.
Woosnam is Wales' only Major golf champion after winning the US Masters in 1991, and he also notably captained the Ryder Cup Team in 2006 when he led the European side to victory in Ireland.
Alan Petherbridge, a Welsh judo legend, will be honoured alongside Woosnam at the Mercure Holland House Hotel this evening, with a posthumous honour for Jack Kelsey, a former Wales and Arsenal goalkeeper.
Joseph, at 17, became the youngest ever club champion at the Glamorganshire Golf Club, but songwriting and performing won out over golf despite playing off a handicap of one at 15 years of age.
Although performing is currently top priority, Joseph remains passionate about golf, still playing when possible to maintain his enviable handicap.
Winner of 'Best Male Artist' at the BBC Welsh Music Awards, Joseph is set to give the first live performance of the song 'On this Celtic Morning' during the star-studded presentation dinner.
'On this Celtic Morning' perfectly captures the pride Wales possesses in hosting the iconic Ryder Cup in October at Newport's Celtic Manor.
A free download of the song is available from Joseph's website, martynjoseph.com, where the video of the song, which salutes past and present golfing greats, can also be found.
