Ladbrokes taking bets on McIlroy and Wozniacki
Announcement leads to bookmaker opening a book on the couple
Ladbrokes are running a series of specials for 2012 on new couple Rory McIlroy and Caroline Wozniacki.
The new couple are 6/1 to tie the knot before the end of 2013 according to the bookmaker, while you can get 2/1 on them announcing their engagement next year.
They're even money to win over $10m in prize money collectively and are 10,000/1 to each complete the Grand Slam of Majors in 2012.
In the head-to-head betting, Wozniacki is 1/5 favourite to win the next Major with McIlroy priced at 3/1.
If you think the couple will manage less than two Majors between them in 2012 the price is 1/3.
Alex Donohue of
Ladbrokes, says: "We think Woz will win the first Major. It looks like they'll both be in for a bumper year of prize money but may only manage one Major between them in 2012.
