Carly Booth has won her first professional title after seeing off France's Marion Ricordeau in a play-off for the Dinard Ladies Open.
The young Scot recovered superbly to birdie the 18th having three-putted it moments earlier in regulation play.
Her winning birdie came after hitting a punched eight-iron to six feet. "If I'd had a par on the last in regulation play I would have won it but I still did it," said the 19-year-old.
"Of course I was delighted but I think it took a moment to sink in. I've been hitting it well the last few months so it's nice to see it pay off."
Booth started seven places behind Ricordeau at the start of the final round, but her two-under 67 in cold and windy conditions saw her leap through the field.
The crucial moment in her round came on 14 and 15 where she registered back-to-back birdies with putts from 40 and eight feet respectively.
It was third time lucky for Booth in play-offs, as she missed out at Ricoh Women's British Open qualifying at Panmuir in 2011 and also at LET Final Qualifying School for the 2012 season at La Manga Club.

"I'll celebrate with a nice steak and a cup of coffee," added Booth. It's been a great week in Dinard and a really good confidence boost."
