Solheim Cup Team USA 2026: Angela Stanford Names Wildcard Picks To Complete Line-Up
Angela Stanford completed her Team USA Solheim Cup squad by naming Megan Khang, Rose Zhang and Lindy Duncan as her three wildcard picks.
Captain Angela Stanford has completed her Team USA line-up for the 2026 Solheim Cup by picking Megan Khang, Rose Zhang and Lindy Duncan as her three wildcards.
Stanford made her three picks live on Golf Channel to add to her nine qualifiers to complete the 12-player team heading to Europe next month.
There was no surprise to see Khang picked to appear in her fifth straight Solheim Cup, with Zhang appearing in her third in a row after leading Team USA with a brilliant four points from four matches last time out in 2024.
Duncan will be making her Solheim Cup debut at age 35, with the World No.63 next in line in the world rankings behind Monday's final two qualifiers.
Andrea Lee and Alison Lee grabbed those last two qualifying spots after the weekend's CPKC Women’s Open thanks to their positions in the Rolex Women’s World Golf Rankings.
The other seven qualifiers to come from the US Solheim Cup standings are Nelly Korda, Angel Yin, Jennifer Kupcho, Yealimi Noh, Auston Kim, Lauren Coughlin and Allisen Corpuz.
Team USA will take on Anna Nordqvist's Team Europe at Bernardus Golf Club in the Netherlands on between September 11-13.

Team Europe already named
Nordqvist had four wildcards to pick for her European team looking to win back the Solheim Cup on home soil - with the Swede naming them after the AIG Women's Open.
Leona Maguire, Julia Lopez Ramirez, Nastasia Nadaud and Mimi Rhodes got the nod as captain's picks to join a strong European side led by Charley Hull.
Lottie Woad and AIG Women's Open runner-up Esther Henseleit also qualified alongside Maja Stark, Celine Boutier, Carlota Ciganda, Linn Grant and Nanna Koerstz Madsen.
Europe retained the Solheim Cup in 2023 after a thrilling 14-14 tie at Finca Cortesin in Spain, before the USA gained swift revenge a year later with a 15.2-12.2 success at Robert Trent Jones GC.

Paul Higham is a sports journalist with over 20 years of experience in covering most major sporting events for both Sky Sports and BBC Sport. He is currently freelance and covers the golf majors on the BBC Sport website. Highlights over the years include covering that epic Monday finish in the Ryder Cup at Celtic Manor and watching Rory McIlroy produce one of the most dominant Major wins at the 2011 US Open at Congressional. He also writes betting previews and still feels strangely proud of backing Danny Willett when he won the Masters in 2016 - Willett also praised his putting stroke during a media event before the Open at Hoylake. Favourite interviews he's conducted have been with McIlroy, Paul McGinley, Thomas Bjorn, Rickie Fowler and the enigma that is Victor Dubuisson. A big fan of watching any golf from any tour, sadly he spends more time writing about golf than playing these days with two young children, and as a big fair weather golfer claims playing in shorts is worth at least five shots. Being from Liverpool he loves the likes of Hoylake, Birkdale and the stretch of tracks along England's Golf Coast, but would say his favourite courses played are Kingsbarns and Portrush.
