AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Betting Guide

This week the PGA Tour are in California at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. Where the players compete alongside celebs over three of the spectacular courses in this part of the world.

There is always a great deal of interest in this tournament and no surprise that the short-priced favourites are defending champion Jimmy Walker (8/1) last week’s winner Jason Day (8/1).

There are the likes of Jordan Spieth (12/1), Dustin Johnson (16/1) and Patrick Reed (16/1).

I was very tempted to lump on one of these 5, but picking which one is very tricky, and they all have slight issues that mean the short price is just not enough to invest.

Instead I have decided to go for a form player and a couple of players with a good record in the tournament.

AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Golf Betting Guide advised bets

Ryan Palmer £2 each way at 22/1 – Someone I always like to look at, due to the fact his hot streaks are scorching. Finished 2nd in Phoenix and top 10 at the Humana Challenge and has had reasonable, if unspectacular, successes here in the past.

Kevin Na £2 each way at 40/1 – Has not been at his best in recent times, but enjoys himself here. Including finishing top 5 twice in the last three seasons.

Bryce Molder £1 each way at 100/1 – Following on from my Scott Stallings pick last week which made us money, going to attempt to pick another horse for these courses. Molder has finished top 15 in 4 of the last 5 events here, including T4th last season.

Odds from Paddy Power, Each way bets 1/4 odds Top 6.
