Oceânico’s Amendoeira Golf Resort has opened a state-of-the-art golf academy that boasts every practice facility for amateurs and professionals

Oceânico’s Amendoeira Golf Resort has opened a state-of-the-art golf academy that boasts every practice facility for amateurs and professionals, as well as a floodlit 9-hole, par 3 course.
PGA professionals are on hand to offer private tuition with the latest video analysis software available to help students improve and hone their games.
The Oceânico’s Amendoeira Golf Resort in Portugal features two championship courses – one designed by Nick Faldo and the other by Christy O’Connor Jnr, but aside from the golf there are championship standard tennis courts, football pitches and two bowling greens.
‘We are delighted with the opening of the Amendoeira Golf Resort Academy and Callaway Fitting Suite,” said Managing Director Christopher Stilwell.
“It is a great facility with some of the finest conditioned practice areas in the region. We are looking forward to welcoming our guests and helping them advance their games to make sure they get the most out of their rounds on the Faldo and O’Connor Jnr courses.”
Oceânico Golf has now increased its portfolio to seven championship venues in the Algarve, as the company also owns the five courses at Vilamoura - Oceânico Victoria, The Oceânico Old Course, Oceânico Millennium, Oceânico Laguna and Oceânico Pinhal.
