Patshull Park announce charity golf day
Patshull Park Golf & Country Club will hold a charity golf day in honour of its former head greenkeeper, who passed away after a lengthy battle with illness
Geoff Allinson dedicated more than twenty years of his life to Patshull Park Golf & Country Club as head greenkeeper. His passion for improving and developing the course was inspirational.
After fighting illness for the past six months, Geoff passed away. He leaves behind a wife and two very young children.
The golf club has decided to organise a Memorial Charity Golf Day on Friday 24th August for the benefit of Geoff's family. All of the proceeds from this day will be passed to the family to use at their discretion.
The tournament will be a two-man better ball competition. Entry is £30 a pair for non-members and £20 pounds a pair for members. A fantastic £1,000 prize table is available for the winners.
Patshull Park is a stunning par 72 parkland golf course, located in Shropshire, between Wolverhampton and Telford.
