Sunningdale New Course is 10th in Golf Monthly's Top 100 UK & Ireland golf course rankings 2015/16.
It retains its position in the top 10 from our previous standings in 2013/14 and sits three places above its neighbour, the Old Course.
It is the only two-course venue with both layouts inside the top 15, and by some way.
According to the GM panel, Sunningdale's New Course is 'perfect heathland golf, a joyous experience and a serious test'.
Perhaps slightly more forgiving off the tee than the Old Course, most agree it is the more challenging and better of the two layouts, although both are truly first-rate.
Sunningdale has hosted a plethora of major tournaments, including the Senior Open Championship, Women's British Open, the British Masters and the Walker Cup.
