Who Is Emily Kristine Pedersen's Boyfriend?

Emily Kristine Pedersen is in a relationship with Olly Brett, a caddie on the LPGA Tour who previously worked with Danielle Kang but now loops for Rose Zhang. The pair have been an item since at least April 2018, when they first appeared on each other's Instagram pages.

Brett grew up in Leicestershire, England and started caddying during his later teenage years after making the yardage books on the Ladies European Tour and men's DP World Tour.

Speaking to the PLTCA (Professional Ladies Tour Caddie Association), Brett revealed that he would be asked to fill in for absent caddies during his time off. Before long, the Englishman said he was approached by a DP World Tour player who asked him to start full-time and his caddying career took off from there.

Brett began assisting Zhang in October 2023 after five years on the bag of Kang, helping the San Francisco-born player to five regular LPGA Tour victories during that time. 

He also caddied for 2024 International Team captain, Mike Weir on the PGA Tour Champions in 2023 as well as Mel Reid, Sandra Gal, Sophia Popov, Steve Lewton, Espen Kofstad, and Pedersen - highlighting the level of his experience as a caddie since beginning in 2010.

While on the bag of Kang - who had nicknamed Brett 'The Bun', because of his long hair - he competed against his long-time partner at the 2019 and 2021 Solheim Cups and he will do so again alongside Zhang at the 2024 event.

Pedersen also faced Kang and her boyfriend in August 2020 at the Aberdeen Standard Investments Ladies Scottish Open, going on to explain how strange a dynamic it was at first.

The Danish player said: “It was a little weird. Because normally when he's there and we play, we chat a lot, and I don't think we said anything to each other today.

“They make a good team and I respect the work. At the end of the day, this is my job and it's his job and we are both professionals. We just to learn to deal with it. I think the first time is always a little odd.”

A very decent golfer himself, Brett's Instagram shows that he played a round at The Olympic Club during 2018. Brett appears to also a keen traveller and has posted pictures of several worldwide locations.
