US Masters A-Z: Tiger Woods to Fuzzy Zoeller
Get the A-Z of the US Masters golf tournament 2009 at the Augusta National Golf Club in Georgia from Tiger Woods to Fuzzy Zoeller.
T – Tiger Woods. Holds the record tournament score of 18-under par. Fourteen Majors and counting.
U – USA. This will be the chant if Woods is on fire come Sunday’s round.
V - Victory. The greatest feat man can achieve in golf is at the US Masters.
W – Water. Many have fallen victim to the water hazards around the course most notably at 11, 12, 13, 15 and 16.
X - X-rated. Women are banned from becoming members at this elite club. Martha Burk famously campaigned at the gates of the club in 2003.
Y – Yardage. The course is some 7,445 yards. Over the past decade, development of the course has seen an extra 540 yards added.
Z – Zoeller. Fuzzy Zoeller won the tournament in 1979 after a playoff against Ed Sneed and Tom Watson.
