Jordan Spieth prepares for Masters

Jordan Spieth was 11 holes away from a green jacket at last years Masters. Now, he has his eyes set on redemption

"I had an opportunity to make a dream come true."

"I had it in my hands, and then I was just a little anxious,” said Spieth during his Tuesday press conference.

“You can make the excuse that as a first‑timer and whatever, 20 years old, that that's likely to happen. But in my mind, I was playing the best through whatever it was, 60 holes, 62 holes, and had an opportunity to continue that the next 10 or 11 holes and didn't quite close it out.”

Instead of being bitter, Spieth comes back to Augusta National with a fresh perspective on his game.

“Sometimes it's odd when I'm speaking to them from an experience point of view, when I look at them as friends and kind of the same age.  It can be a little weird.”

Spieth will play his first two rounds with Henrik Stenson and Billy Horschel. After last years runner up finish, Spieth is figured to be right in the thick of things come Sunday, as he is listed as a 10/1 favourite by the bookies.
