Adrian Meronk is a Polish professional golfer who plays on the PGA and DP World Tours. He is one of the rising talents in the sport and has won four times on the European circuit. He earned his PGA Tour card when he finished fourth on the season-long Race to Dubai standings in 2023.

1. Meronk was born in Hamburg, Germany on 31 May 1993. His family moved back to Poland when Meronk was two years old.
2. He attended high school in Wrocław before moving to the United States to study.
3. He attended East Tennessee State University from 2012 to 2016, playing golf and graduating with a business finance degree.
4. In a Golf Monthly interview, Meronk said playing college golf was key to his development: “I played a couple of tournaments with Justin Thomas, Jon Rahm, Thomas Pieters and Matthias Schwab. A lot of these players were my age and we competed against each other in college tournaments and in Palmer Cups. It was the key to being better at golf. We competed against the best players in the nation. That was a learning experience and good preparation for tour life.”

6. He represented Poland in the Eisenhower Trophy in 2012, 2014, 2016. In 2016 Poland finished eighth, with Meronk tied for third place as an individual. He also played for Europe in the Arnold Palmer Cup in 2015 and 2016, being part of the winning team in 2016.
7. He turned professional in 2016 after the Eisenhower Trophy.
8. In September 2019, Meronk became the first Polish player to win a DP World Tour-operated event at the Open de Portugal on the Challenge Tour. He won by two strokes over Sebastian Garcia Rodriguez.
9. He then became the first Polish golfer to earn his DP World Tour card, after finishing fifth in the 2019 Challenge Tour rankings.
10. He is also the first Polish golfer to compete at The Masters. Poland is one of 40 countries outside of the United States to have at least one player compete in the Masters.
11. Meronk has a friendship with former Polish footballer Jerzy Dudek. Meronk told Golf Monthly: “He’s a nice guy, I like playing with him. He’s a very good golfer, very passionate. He plays all the time. Everyone knows him back home.”
12. He won his first DP World Tour event in July 2022 at the Horizon Irish Open, becoming the first Pole to win on the European Tour. He won again that year at the ISPS Handa Australian Open.
13. He won twice again on the DP World Tour in 2023, claiming victories at the Italian Open at Marco Simone in May and the Andalucía Masters in October.
14. Despite winning at the 2023 Ryder Cup venue, Marco Simone, earlier that year, he was controversially not selected as one of Luke Donald’s wildcard picks.
15. Thanks to his two victories in 2023, he earned his PGA Tour card for the 2024 season after finishing fourth on the DP World Tour’s season-long standings.
16. Meronk’s caddie is Stuart Beck, who started his career as a looper on the Ladies European Tour before moving to the Challenge Tour.
17. He has won over $7 million in prize money over the course of his career. He has five professional wins.
18. He averaged 306.9 yards in driving distance for the 2023 DP World Tour season. His best driving season in terms of distance came in 2020, when he averaged 314.2 yards
19. He represented Poland at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
20. Meronk is reportedly dating musician Melania Bobrowicz.
