Ian Poulter has a colourful and illustrious history in the Ryder Cup and his passion for golf's biggest event cannot be matched.
In recent years, he's established himself as an all-time legend in the biennial competition with a series of unbelievable performances.
In five Ryder Cups, he's won 12 of his 18 matches - a record that no one else can come close to matching in the modern era.
In 2012 at Medinah, he galvanised the European side with a phenomenal performance during the Saturday fourballs to restore some genuine hope before beating Webb Simpson in the singles - his fourth consecutive singles win, having defeated Chris Riley in 2004, Steve Stricker in 2008 and Matt Kuchar in 2012.
