Puma Women’s Ignite spikeless shoe RRP: £100
Puma has been at the forefront of sports shoe design since the original company was founded by Adolf and Rudolf Dassler back in 1924. Puma is famous for its football boots, running shoes, fashion trainers and more recently golf shoes. Since entering the golf market, Puma has been at the cutting edge of design, challenging the norm and adding spark and style to the golf shoe. As such, many fashion conscious players have chosen to wear Puma shoes, amongst them Rickie Fowler and Lexi Thompson.
The Puma Women’s Ignite spikeless provides a fresh, sporty look but it also delivers on performance, featuring a number of innovative technologies to help you play your best.
The full grain leather uppers are soft and supple and will provide excellent comfort. This is further enhanced by the flexible and breathable mesh collar that hugs the heel and ankle for excellent fit. The shoes come with a two-year waterproof guarantee.
A key technology is the Ignite foam. This sits between the outer sole and the upper – it provides great spring as you walk as well as maximising stability and support. The idea is that the foam cushions every step you take.
The sole itself features Puma’s “Gripzone” traction with 39 hexagonal lugs and 24 chevron shaped lugs strategically placed to offer grip where it’s most needed. The level of traction is comparable to shoes with cleats.
The shoes come in three colour options: White, glacier gray, rose red/ white, purple cactus flower, glacier gray/ black, pink dogwood, glacier gray.
