Cleveland Mashie hybrid
A review of the Cleveland Mashie hybrid
Some will immediately dislike the retro finish but it is a huge hit in the Golf Monthly office. The ball feels powerful off the face and the Cleveland Mashie head shape makes it perfect for little chip and run shots.
Why you can trust Golf Monthly
Cleveland's new Mashie boasts a ‘Gliderail' sole design, with dual rails flanking a central keel, with a view to improving playability from all lies. ‘Ultralite' and with an extended shaft, shot distance should also be boosted.
Extremely versatile and produced distance more like a fairway wood. The retro "unfinished" look of the Cleveland Mashie is definitely a love or hate thing.
