ntl Telewest offers free PGA coverage in January
Broadcasters ntl Telewest have teamed up with Setanta Sport to offer a free preview of the new Setanta Golf channel which includes exclusive coverage of the PGA Tour.

The 3 million customers of ntl Telewest will be able to experience Setanta Sports' new and exclusive PGA Tour coverage for free in January. Setanta?s new channel, Setanta Golf, will be available 24 hours a day as ntl Telewest?s guest channel, commencing with the Sony Open live from Hawaii this week. The channel will then be available as part of the £15 Setanta package.
During the 2007 season Setanta will show 50 PGA Tour events live, including The Players Championship, The Tour Championship and new FedExCup Playoffs. This coverage will be complemented by live Champions Tour, Asian Tour and Nationwide Tour events.
The package will also include live Barclay?s Premiership, Scottish, Italian, French, German, Portuguese, Dutch and Champions Leagues football. As well as the Setanta Golf channel there will also be horse racing, North American sports, Formula 1 and the Rugby World Cup.
Setanta have also announced that they will be broadcasting a channel on Freeview. This Freeview channel will take highlights from the other nine Setanta Sports channels including Setanta Golf.
