KLM Open and BMW Championship betting guides
Regular betting guru Paul Krishnamurty is away this week, so the GM office have decided to add their considerable weight to some players performing on both sides of the Atlantic this week

With regular tipster Paul Krishnamurty sunning himself this week, it has come upon the Golf Monthly office to put their heads together and come up with the following tips for this week's golf, the KLM Open in Holland and the BMW Championship in America.
KLM Open (European Tour)
Golf Monthly favourite - Charl Schwartzel @ 18/1 (general) Top 5 performance last week after 3 weeks out. 5th on Race to Dubai, ignore at your peril.
Great Value - Louis Oosthuizen @ 33/1 (Skybet) Had an amazing July with 3 top tens and a Major win at the Open. Course should suit his game.
Home favourite - Robert Jan Derksen @ 50/1 e.w (Totesport) Was 5th last week and will have the crowds cheering him on. Could do well. Outsider - Peter Hedblom @ 125/1 e.w (general) Lost in a play-off last year, obviously likes the tournament. Could get top 5 again.
BMW Championship (PGA Tour)
Golf Monthly favourite - Steve Stricker @ 15/1 (bwin.com) Has carded 14 straight rounds of par or better, and has started the Fedex cup play-offs with two top-10s. On fire.

Great Value - Rickie Fowler @ 90/1 e.w. (bet365) Must be on cloud nine after Ryder Cup wildcard pick, but still with a point to prove, very good odds.
Home favourite - Luke Donald @ 28/1 (general) Englishman Luke went to nearby Northwestern college and lives just 40km from the course. Also been in excellent form with a 2nd placed finish last week.
Outsider - Anthony Kim @ 150/1 e.w. (general) Must still be smarting from missing out on the Ryder Cup. Will want to show Team USA what they are missing out on.
