Golf tips of the week: Posture tips
Our golf tips of the week are taken from Top 25 Coach Andrew Jones who demonstrates how six everyday household items can transform your game.
Golf tip 4. Garden cane drill
A garden cane can help you set the perfect posture. Place the cane under your shirt, running along your spine. The back of your head should just touch the cane. This simple drill shows how a good posture should feel. Once you are comfortable, take the cane out and hit a few shots taking care to set the ideal spine angle at address. As long as you maintain this posture from set-up to impact, your striking will be good.
