US Ryder Cup captain Corey Pavin led a star-studded field at the Tristan Capital Partners Charity Golf Championship at Wentworth last Friday to help raise money for the strong Black Heart Foundation.
The event, in its 10th year, is one of the most prestigious corporate events in Europe played over the West, East and Executive courses at the famous Surrey venue.
Clients, guests and associates of Tristan Capital Partners, leaders in real estate investment management, were joined by the likes of Kevin Pietersen, Paul Collingwood, Michael Vaughan and Sir Ian Botham.
GM's David Howell was also present along with Rugby stars Matt Dawson and Keith Wood, and Olympic legend Sir Matthew Pinsent.
The 2010 event raised in excess of £50,000 for the Black Heart Foundation, which supports a number of initiatives targeting underprivileged children and families in the UK and USA.
"It has been another superb event, Corey has been a real star and it is great that we have been able to raise so much money for Black Heart," said Ric Lewis, chief executive and chairman of Tristan Capital Partners.
Pavin, currently competing in the Senior Open Championship at Carnoustie, added: "The camaraderie, fun and competition have been first class to today and I am delighted we have raised so much for such a great cause."
