Canete wins Joberg Open in style
Three birdies in the final four holes gave Ariel Caneta an impressive maiden victory in the Joberg Open.

Argentina?s Ariel Canete took a one shot lead into the final round of the the inaugural Joberg Open and with a great finish converted it into victory.
Canete looked nervous early on and made bogie at the par-3 2nd. He settled those nerves with a great birdie two at the 5th and did not look back. After 16 holes Canete was level with South African Andrew McLardy on 17 under. The 31-year-old birdied the 17th to give him a one shot lead and a brilliant up and down for birdie at 18 secured the title.
"I was in Argentina and it was the holidays. I thought to myself let?s go to South Africa and give it a try, you never know. Now I am very, very happy," said Canete.
With the Royal Trophy taking place this week the event offered a great opportunity for players low down on the money list and Canete, a former Challenge Tour graduate, was one of them.
South Africans dominated the rest of the top ten with Hennie Otto taking third place. Edward Rush was top British performer, finishing on 12-under par and tied for sixth.
