Four lines of tour-inspired Bridgestone J15 irons have been introduced into the marketplace
Four lines of tour-inspired Bridgestone J15 irons have been introduced into the marketplace.
The new family of clubs is built around tour performance expertise and the success of Bridgestone staffers like Matt Kuchar and Brandt Snedeker.
The Bridgestone J15 irons are comprised of three forged models and one cast design for game-improvers.
"A decade after the launch of the acclaimed J33 forged irons, the new range extends the Bridgestone brand's tradition of precision-engineered irons in clean, classic styling with cutting-edge technologies focused on improving performance," said Steve Kettlewell, MD of Bridgestone Golf in the UK and Ireland.
All the J15 irons, despite being crafted for different standards of golfers, feature a sure contact sole for optimum turf interaction.
Each club line has its own unique heel sole designed to promote greater consistency.

J15 CB cavity-back irons are played by Kuchar and Snedeker, and boast a compact head design for tour-level control and shot shaping.
The J15 DF driving forged irons marry feel and forgiveness.
A hidden cavity between the front and rear of the club increases ball speeds and distance, while added weight around the perimeter aids forgiveness.
The J15 DPF pocket forged irons also ulitise perimeter weighting to improve MOI and forgiveness.
The mid-size head, meanwhile, promotes confidence and control, and a rounded sure contact sole delivers minimal turf interaction and more forgiveness on off-centre hits.
Full sets (4-PW) come with an RRP of £699.
Shafts:
J15 CB - True Temper Dynamic Gold J15 DF - NSPRO 950 J15 DPF - NSPRO 950
Game-improvers seeking more forgiveness and playability will favor Bridgestone J15 Cast irons.
A 360-degree undercut and full-face channel maximise the impact area, a sure contact sole encourages a high launch and an oversize club head with a thick top line inspires confidence.
The full set (again 4-PW) comes with an RRP of £549.
The four full sets of J15 irons are complemented by the J15 forged wedge.
It incorporates a sure contact sole design, with other features including an expanded inner groove area that channels away debris and a heat-treated face for enhanced durability.
Available in six different lofts (50-60 degrees) from March 2015, the Bridgestone J15 Forged Wedge comes with an RRP of £95.
