Srixon Q-Star Tour
The real beauty of the Srixon Q-Star Tour golf ball is that it promises tour-calibre performance in a softer-feeling package and at a lower price than Srixon’s tour-proven Z-Star models.
Editor's Choice 2020
This third generation Q-Star Tour ball has been further improved for 2020 with several clever design features that enhance its all-round performance, such as an improved FastLayer Core, Srixon’s SeRM compound on the outer coating of the ball, and a new alignment stamp on the cover to assist on the putting green and even off the tee where you also enjoy the chance to align the ball exactly as you wish.
The enhanced FastLayer Core at the centre of this multi-layer ball is softer in the middle and firmer at the edges to help boost ball speed and distance, while still helping to maintain the softer feel that is perhaps the Q-Star Tour’s key selling point.
The Slide-Ring Material (SeRM) is then a urethane compound coating on the ball that allows it to dig deeper into the grooves on the clubface of wedges and irons to increase friction, spin and stopping power.

Soft to the core
In testing, we’ve been suitably impressed with the performance of this golf ball and believe that it will now provide golfers with the chance to play a ball with tour-performance credentials that is not only softer for greater control into and around the greens, but also comes at a price that many more will be willing to pay for all-round performance of this standard.

We loved the way this ball played and performed both off the tee and particularly around the greens and can see it being a strong performer for Srixon this year.
The Srixon Q-Star Tour is available in Pure White and Tour Yellow versions, both featuring a prominent handy alignment stamp on one side.
