A review of the Cleveland FL fairway wood

Cleveland FL
Golf Monthly Verdict

A fairway wood that flew noticeably longer than most on a towering flight. The lightweight design feels unusual at first but isn’t too much of a drop off in the control on offer.

Cleveland has taken Ultralite technology from the tee to the fairway, with the Launcher FL series losing 30g of weight compared to previous models. An extremely light Miyazaki shaft and Lamkin grip make the difference.

The lightweight Cleveland FL design adds distance here as well as in the drivers but won't suit those who like to feel the head at the top of the swing.
