Maxfli Black Max
Maxfli Black Max Golf Monthly balls review
The cover on this ball both looks and feels a little firmer than the softest ones here and as a result it did feel a little to lively off the club face for the way we like to play green side shots. But it flies a long way, and the trade off is a higher degree of durability than certain others.
Why you can trust Golf Monthly
The key to this ball's performance is its thin, firm mid layer that works with the low compresion core to generate high launch and low spin off the driver, and with the soft urethane cover to produce a lower launch an higher rate of spin off shorter irons for improved control.
