As we take a collective breath and get ready to move further into the golf season, we take a look at the past winners of the next event, The RBC Heritage.
It almost feels like a letdown.
But all good things must come to an end.
As we move forward from the Masters tournament and into the rest of the PGA season, the next tournament on the schedule is the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, South Carolina.
The one thing we have to look forward to... The second best jacket in golf.
Past Winners of RBC Heritage received a tartan red jacket that stands out amonst the rest, and this year will be no different.
Big names have have been able to earn theirs in recent years, and here's how they did it.
Traditionally, the week following the Masters is a time for the top names to take a break.
But not Matt Kuchar.
Kuchar made up four shots on the leaders with a fast start on sunday, seven birdies in the first 10 holes.
He nearly gave the tournament away on 17, dropping a stoke with a three-putt on 17.
But, Kuch rallied with a long hole-out chip on 18 to take home the top spot at the RBC Heritage, taking home his seventh career victory and over $1 million in prize money.
It was a fight right to the finish in 2013 for Graeme McDowell. The Northern Irishman had to battle from behind on Sunday to claim his second career victory.
McDowell was trailing by four shots entering Sunday, but showed resiliency to claim a win over Webb Simpson in a one hole playoff.
It was nearly disaster for G-Mac though, a bogye on 18, his only of the day, forced the playoff in the first place.
Some say there is no such thing as an easy win on the PGA Tour.
Those people may have missed the 2012 RBC Heritagae.
Carl Pettersson raced out to an early lead and never let go, defeating Zach Johnson by five strokes.
Ath the time, the victoy tied Jesper Parnevik for the most wins on tour by a Sweedish player. The victory at RBC nearly broke it though.
Pettersson finished in second place just two weeks before at the Houston Open.
World number one, Luke Donald, was looking to roll over the field in 2011, until Brandt Snedeker got in the way.
Snedeker went out and shot a Sunday 64 to pull off a tie with Donald after 72 holes. (I think there is a them here)
The world no.5 at the time would outduel the top ranked Donald, taking home just over a million dollars in prize moeny.
Jim Furyk 2010
A birdie on 18 forced yet another playoff to end things in 2010.
Englishman Brian Davis birdied on 18 to force a playoff with Jim Furyk who led the field by a stroke going into the day.
But it was Furyk who shut the door in the playoff, a victory that was part of his better years on tour. He would go onto to finsih the year second on the money list.
