Swingers Golf Club Returns to London
Swingers: the crazy golf club is making a return, this time in Central London. After huge success at the pop-up in Shoreditch that ran from September 2014 to February 2015, the club will reopen to the public in April 2016.
Swingers will be setting up at a 16000 square foot area near the Gherkin, in between Liverpool St. and Bank stations. The site will include places for eating and drinking as well as plenty of places to play golf.
It will feature many similar elements as their popular Shoreditch location did. Some improvements to the new venue will be two all-new 9-hole crazy courses with windmill and lighthouse installations, four cocktail bars, a two-story clubhouse with mezzanine and a private dining room that overlooks the course.
Swingers is partnering with several street food vendors and will start serving at lunchtime and continue well into the night. Visitors can also enjoy the club’s partnership with Meantime’s London Lager and Pale Ale, their drafts will be at all bars. Three 1000 litre tanks are being installed at the top of one of the courses to ensure fresh brewery.
While playing a round of golf, customers can use the Swingers app to order food. The app also doubles into an electronic scorecard that can be used for each game.
