St Mungo beer has just been introduced to the newly renovated Turnberry, a Luxury Collection Resort – one of Scotland’s iconic hotels and host to The Open Championship last month.
St Mungo, the award-winning lager brewed by WEST, Glasgow’s independent brewery, is now available on draught in Turnberry’s new Ailsa Bar and ‘Duel in the Sun’ bar.
The inviting bar offers a fine selection of bottled beers, wines and cocktails. The new Ailsa Bar & Lounge offers exceptional views across the links to the Irish Sea.
Offering inspiration to some of the world’s greatest golfers during their stay at Turnberry last month, golfer Mark Calcavecchia said: “I love the St Mungo. Hope to see it in Florida.”
St Mungo is also available in the clubhouse and in the mini bar of each of the five star luxury resort’s 219 bedrooms, lodges and cottages.
St Mungo is a light golden lager that has already won a prestigious DLG (German Agricultural Society) gold medal following its launch last year. Based in the iconic Templeton Building, WEST operates a full production brewery and is home to a stylish beer hall and restaurant with a beer garden overlooking Glasgow Green.
Turnberry, a Luxury Collection Resort, Scotland is part of Starwood’s acclaimed Luxury Collection portfolio, which includes more than 70 of the world’s finest hotels in more than 30 countries worldwide.
