Golf Monthly launch interactive guide to England’s Golf Coast

Golf Monthly have launched an interactive guide for golfers to learn more about England’s Golf Coast courses including the prestigious three Open Championship ‘Royals’.

Golf Monthly magazine have released an essential interactive guide for golfers to learn more about England’s Golf Coast courses, which include three prestigious Open Championship ‘Royals’ as well as 9 other courses each playing host to influential tournaments.

The interactive guide is released ahead of the Open Championship in July, which will be held at Royal Liverpool for the twelfth time.

The guide takes readers through an introduction of England’s Golf Coast’s three Royal clubs, namely Royal Liverpool, Royal Lytham & St Anne’s and Royal Birkdale.

Using videos and galleries, the guide gives readers the full experience of the three Open Championship venues that between them have hosted a remarkable 32 of the 143 Open tournaments to date.

It is not just the Royal courses that the guide explores but also the nine other clubs that England’s Golf Coast has to offer including Formby Hall.

Formby Hall, which opened in the 1990s, is distinctively different from the other links golf courses on offer with its main feature being water on nearly every hole.

One of the 10 oldest clubs in England, West Lancashire, is also discussed. The course co-hosted the Amateur Championship with Formby in 2009 and regularly served as an Open Final Qualifying venue until this year.

As well as in depth analysis of England’s Golf Coast’s courses, the magazine also features advice on where to stay when playing on one of the prestigious courses.

Also featuring are recommendations of off-course attractions from the Cavern Club in Liverpool where the Beatles first began to Lytham Hall, a Georgian country house.
