The TaylorMade Burner SuperFast TP driver, launched in March, has been branded a great success, with Retief Goosen, Rory Sabbatini, Mike Weir, Justin Rose, Vaughn Taylor and Volvo Open champion Y.E. Yang all reaping the benefits.
Keith Sbarbaro, TaylorMade's vice president of tour operations, said: "The players who have put Burner SuperFast TP in play have done so mostly because they're getting more ball speed and distance with it.
"Vaughn Taylor has never been considered a long hitter. A player came to our tour trailer and asked for a Burner SuperFast TP because he couldn't believe how far Vaughn was hitting it past him in a practice round."
The Burner SuperFast TP possesses TaylorMade's renowned Inverted Cone Technology, which allows for a faster ball speed on off-centre hits. Dual-Crown technology also lowers and pulls back the centre of gravity to give motion to a higher launch angle.
The black-coloured Burner SuperFast TP driver features a tour-inspired crown graphic and the famous TP logo on the toe.
A new Matrix Shaft Configuration also improves distance and ball flight. At 46" in length, the Burner SuperFast TP automatically promotes a wide swing arc to create increased clubhead speed.
The driver is available for £299, with loft options of 8.5, 9.5 and 10.5 degrees.
