Megan Khang is one of the most recognized names in the women's game, with the American making multiple appearances in the Solheim Cup, as well as picking up an LPGA Tour title and a number of excellent finishes. Below, we get to know the American a little bit better...

1. Megan Khang was born 23rd October 1997 in Brockton, Massachusetts
2. She started playing golf at the age 5
3. At the age of 14, She qualified for the 2012 US Women's Open
4. A year later, at the 2015 Junior Solheim Cup, she was the only player to go 5-0
5. Khang credits her dad as having the most influence on her career
Khang was the US' star player in the 2023 Solheim Cup, with the American picking up 3.5 points from a possible 4
6. In 2015, she earned LPGA membership for the 2016 season

7. In her debut season on the LPGA Tour she made 17 cuts in 28 events, including a couple of top-10 finishes
8. Her hobbies include snowboarding, fishing, American football and baseball. Khang is a follower of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots
9. During the 2017 season, Khang made the most starts of any player on Tour (32).

15. A popular figure on the LPGA Tour circuit, Khang is good friends with Nelly Korda. At the 2024 LPGA Drive On Championship, Khang stayed at Korda's house, with the duo paired together in the final round

As of January 2024, Khang has picked up $5.7 million in career earnings on the LPGA Tour, with the American amassing over 35 top 10s.

HOW FAR DOES MEGAN KHANG DRIVE THE BALL?
According to the LPGA Tour, Khang's average driving distance in 2023 stood at 255.59 yards (ranked 90). This is around 25 yards less than the Tour's leading average of 281.75 yards
Matt joined Golf Monthly in February 2021 covering weekend news, before also transitioning to equipment and testing. After freelancing for Golf Monthly and The PGA for 18 months, he was offered a full-time position at the company in October 2022 and continues to cover weekend news and social media, as well as help look after Golf Monthly’s many buyers’ guides and equipment reviews.
Taking up the game when he was just seven years of age, Matt made it into his county squad just a year later and continues to play the game at a high standard, with a handicap of around 2-4. To date, his best round came in 2016, where he shot a six-under-par 66 having been seven-under through nine holes. He currently plays at Witney Lakes in Oxfordshire and his favourite player is Rory McIlroy, despite nearly being struck by his second shot at the 17th during the 2015 BMW PGA Championship.
