Tech
This compact-folding trolley displays GPS information and smartphone notifications direct to the handle. It features a completely new frame, wheel and battery design, which combine to create an 11-per-cent-smaller folded footprint than its nearest competitor.
The GPS functionality comes from the free Motocaddy smartphone app, which uses Bluetooth to transfer the distance information to the digital screen on the handle. You can also measure shot distances and receive call, text and app notifications. .
The assembly process has been made much simpler compared with previous M-Series electric trolleys. With fewer moving parts, the M5 Connect can now be set up in two simple moves.

To top off this impressive offering, the new battery design is lighter, smaller and more powerful, so the trolley should last a little longer than previous models.
Game Booster
The M5 Connect is certainly one of the most complete, feature-packed electric trolleys while maintaining that all- important simplicity. The assembly process is now much easier, using just two clips to go from fully erect to folded down.
A further stage involves inverting (flipping) the wheels if you want to save even more space. A pop-out clip allows the trolley to stand vertically for easier storage.
Especially tall and short golfers will appreciate the adjustable handle height, which is easy to tweak, while those with busy lives off the course will like the ability to stay connected to the outside world while on the course.
The screen is surprisingly easy to read given its modest size and the adjustable distance control means you can send it off to the next tee with the minimum of fuss.
Golfers can also fold down the trolley with the battery still in place and even charge it in situ, helping to make the M5 Connect as faff-free as possible while also offering a level of features to satisfy the needs of the gadget lover.
