Who Is Patrick Reed’s Wife?
Who is Patrick Reed's wife, Justine? We take a look below
Patrick Reed is one of the more consistent performers on the PGA Tour, finishing inside the top-30 of the FedEx Cup standings since 2013-14. During that time, he has secured multiple PGA Tour titles, including two World Golf Championships, two FedEx Cup playoff tournament titles and the 2018 Masters.
During Patrick's successes, there has been a regular supporter by his side, his wife, Justine, with the couple being together since college. Get to know her here.
The couple met at Augusta State University and married in 2012. A regular feature in Patrick's support team, Justine has even caddied for him in the past. However, she is now more frequently seen walking practice rounds on Tour.
Justine once told the Washington Post about becoming a full-time caddie, “if you had told me with all the work I put into my nursing degree I’d be doing this, I wouldn’t have believed you. When I told my Dad, he was like, ‘You’re doing what?’”
She was on the bag as Reed came through Q-School to reach the Tour and then for his first two years on the PGA Tour. During that time they had their first and only PGA Tour victory at the Wyndham Championship in 2013.
Justine stopped caddying for her husband when she fell pregnant in 2014 and, since then, Patrick has had Justine’s brother, Kessler Karain, on the bag.
Patrick and Justine have two children, a daughter, Windsor-Wells, who was born in 2014 and a son, Barrett Benjamin, born in December 2017.

Justine actually achieved two undergraduate degrees by the time Reed turned pro in 2011 and was a prolific swimmer and football (soccer) player. She was also a nurse before becoming Reed's caddie.
Patrick's first interaction with his wife, Justine, actually only occurred because her sister, Kris, never answered his text after a first date.
“I was a freshman at the University of Georgia, and her younger sister, Kris, was at LSU. Kris came to visit, and we went on one date, and I texted her to confirm she’d made it back home safe. No response,” Reed said in an interview with Golf Digest.
“So I reached out to Justine on Facebook, who confirmed her sister was back and got frank with me about why it was probably not going to work out,” Reed said. “So I start talking with Justine, who I discovered is this incredibly driven person who was pursuing dual degrees while working to become a nurse. We kept talking as a couple of years went by, then we started dating. Best decision of my life.”
Matt joined Golf Monthly in February 2021 covering weekend news, before also transitioning to equipment and testing. After freelancing for Golf Monthly and The PGA for 18 months, he was offered a full-time position at the company in October 2022 and continues to cover weekend news and social media, as well as help look after Golf Monthly’s many buyers’ guides and equipment reviews.
Taking up the game when he was just seven years of age, Matt made it into his county squad just a year later and continues to play the game at a high standard, with a handicap of around 2-4. To date, his best round came in 2016, where he shot a six-under-par 66 having been seven-under through nine holes. He currently plays at Witney Lakes in Oxfordshire and his favourite player is Rory McIlroy, despite nearly being struck by his second shot at the 17th during the 2015 BMW PGA Championship.
