New Titleist Pro V1 range released
Titleist, the world's leading golf ball manufacturer, launches new Pro V1 and Pro V1x balls for 2007.
You pick up a sleeve, read the back, tell yourself that they're too expensive and that you'll only lose them all on the front nine... But you still delve into your pocket and buy them.
Titleist Pro V1s have been golf's must have balls for several years and no matter how long you hover at the counter, they're going to end up in your bag at some point. The latest versions of both Pro V1 and Pro V1x have now hit the shelves promising better than ever levels of performance so get your wallet ready.
Both balls are said to have improved aerodynamics thanks to a refined higher-coverage dimple design, which helps generate a better ball flight for longer, straighter drives. The Pro V1 and Pro V1x both also benefit from a putting aid in the form of an exclusive Alignment Integrated Marking (AIM) stamp that helps you line up correctly at address.
