Fourteen-year-old Julie Yang is this year's UK Intercollegiate Players Champion after shooting a two-round total of 141 at Longcliffe.
A total of 82 players from 26 colleges qualified for their place in the event on April 28. The weather stayed mostly dry, although a short spell of wind and rain made conditions slightly more testing in the afternoon when scoring was not so low.
The top ten in the 36-hole strokeplay event, played off scratch, qualified to represent the ICT in the College Cup this year.
A fine first-round 69 from Jordan Smith from Filton College was enough to the take the lead, although Yang's impressive 68 in the afternoon meant she eventually crusied home three shots clear of the morning leader.
Yang, from Loretto School, now has plans to turn professional after completing her GCSEs in two year's time.
Elsewhere, Nathan Kimsey from Lincoln College, finished third with a score of 145, and the trophies were presented by Longcliffe's captain, Richard Barker.
