DST Impact Line
The idea of the DST (Delayed Strike Technology) Impact Line is to allow the golfer to practice delivering the club to the ball in such a way as to produce a lag impact. By gaining a better understanding of where the handle of the club needs to be at impact, DST believes golfers will see improvements in accuracy and distance.
Editor's Choice 2020
This is because finding the optimal impact position will enable you to maintain control of the club face until after the ball has been struck. If you lose control of the club face before impact, then it’s a lottery as to the results you’ll get. The DST Impact Line will help you to make sure your hands are ahead of the ball at impact, maximising power and control.
Conforming technology
DST training clubs have proven to be hugely popular with the world’s top players and the company can now provide an Impact Line service for all conforming clubs. Recently approved by R&A Equipment Standards as conforming itself, the Impact Line process involves the lasering of a line across the hosel that will line up perfectly with the leading edge of the club when the club is angled to the perfect impact position.

Finding the perfect impact position
The average player will be surprised where this perfect impact position is. Most of us set up neutrally to the ball and try to come back to a similar position at impact. In fact, the handle of the club should be pushed forward while the face remains square to the target.
Testing suggests that consistently finding this correct position improves accuracy by 43% and distance control by 50%, together with an increase in distance.
This is a very simple but very effective way to help you improve the fundamentals of your game, from driver right through to the wedges.
