Skechers Women’s GOwalk 2 Golf Lynx shoe RRP: £69
Skechers has made quite an impact on the sports shoe market in recent years and they have turned their expertise to the golf market with some style and aplomb. A number of top professionals, including Matt Kuchar and Belén Mozo, are now wearing Skechers and, given the raft of technologies utilised in the construction of the shoes, it isn’t hard to see why.
The Skechers Women’s GOwalk 2 Golf Lynx shoe has been designed taking influence from other Skechers products designed to provide optimum performance to those looking to walk long distances.
For a start the shoe is extremely lightweight, at just 7 oz. it barely feels as though you’re wearing it.
The durable leather, mesh and synthetic upper is water resistant while the lace-up front allows you to customise fit.
Key technologies featured in this shoe include the high-rebound cushioning which will put a real spring in your step and give you great feedback on the nature of the terrain you’re walking, or making your stance, on.
The Resalyte midsole is lightweight and designed to absorb impacts while the turf cleated outsole helps provide good traction and grip. The V-stride technology is a neat innovation. It features a unique angled outsole that complements a natural walking style and helps promote a fluid stride. You certainly feel like you’re getting a little help while walking with this shoe.
The OrthoLite anti microbial sock liner will help keep the shoe fresh while the GOga Mat memory foam insole further enhances comfort.
Overall this is an extremely comfortable and lightweight shoe at a very reasonable price. Not suitable for the worst weathers but a good option through the summer months.
