A review of the Vega VU-02 hybrid

Vega VU-02
Golf Monthly Verdict

A unique looking head with a high quality shaft, the Vega VU-02 produces a penetrating flight perfect for playing in the wind. The design is certainly designed for the better player.

Why you can trust Golf Monthly Our expert reviewers spend hours testing and comparing products and services so you can choose the best for you. Find out more about how we test.

Bucking the hybrid trend by resembling an iron more than a wood, the premium, hand-made Vega VU-02 has a bi-material construction, with a carbon crown fused to a stainless steel body and clubface.

The Vega VU-02 produces an iron like ball flight and good performance from the rough but it less forgiving than some of the larger heads.
