Furyk hangs on for Sun City victory

It is not what we are used to from Jim Furyk, but a mixed bag on a blustery final day produced a 74 which was good enough to take the Nedbank Challenge in Sun City.

It is not what we are used to from Jim Furyk, but an up and down 74 on the final day was good enough to take Nedbank Challenge in Sun City by two shots from Henrik Stenson. The American becomes the fifth man to win the title back to back.

Furyk lived up to his reputation for consistent golf and did not drop a shot in his first three rounds. This gave him a three shot lead over Padraig Harrington going into the final day, but blustery conditions made it difficult for the 12 competitors.
