Hull and Lawrie to play British Par 3

A mix of professionals and celebrities will be in action

Some of the game's leading players will compete at Nailcote Hall next month.

Charley Hull and Paul Lawrie are among the players who will compete in the 2015 Farmfoods British Par 3 Championship at Nailcote Hall.

Hull, 19, is currently competing in the Ricoh Women's British Open and is a friend of host Tony Jacklin.

Lawrie, who finished T40 at the Open, will come into the tournament off the back of his inaugural match play event in Aberdeen.

Jacklin is hosting the event, starting on August 11th, for the seventh straight year.

Among the European Tour players aiming to win their share of the £100,000 prize are Open qualifier Daniel Brooks, Jason Palmer and Lee Slattery.

Eddie Pepperell was due to defend his title, but will now play in the PGA Championship instead.

There will also be representatives from the Ladies European Tour, with Britain's Amy Boulden, Alex Peters, Kelsey MacDonald and Carly Booth set to be in the field.

Former Ryder Cup stars Des Smyth, Brian Barnes and Tommy Horton will join the younger competitors along with two-time European Senior Tour winner Santiago Luna.

As well as the all-star line-up of professionals, there will be two days of CelebAm golf, with Peter Shilton, Manish Bhasin, Allan Lamb, Peter Schmeichel and Damon Hill set to feature.

Over 10,000 spectators walked through the gates for last year's tournament, with Pepperell winning in a play-off against Jak Hamblett.
