The Worplesdon Golf Club Open Scratch Mixed Foursomes will take place for the 87th time this year, with a new format for 2015.
The event, which runs from Saturday 19 - Sunday 20 September, is renowned as one of the most prestigious scratch foursomes events in the UK.
Played over Worplesdon's stunning heathland course - ranked 66th in our Top 100 UK & Ireland courses 2015/16 - the competition is open to male and female golfers who hold a combined handicap of 15 or less.
The event has a sterling list of past winners, with the likes of Gary Wolstenholme, Sir Michael Bonnalack, Kirstie Fisher and Jill Nicolson among the players to have triumphed here.
Worplesdon Foursomes format:
Saturday 19th September:
Qualifying rounds - 36 holes scratch stableford. The first four pairs qualify for the main matchplay competition. The second four gain exemptions for the Worplesdon Bowl Foursomes and the third four will earn a place in the Worplesdon Plate Foursomes.

Sunday 20th September:
Match Play Competition semi-finals, final and third-place play-off, Worplesdon Bowl Foursomes, Worplesdon Plate Foursomes and consolation 18-hole stableford for those who didn't qualify for the above three events.
Courtesy practice rounds can be played between 3pm and 6pm on Friday September 18.
A BBQ will take place on Friday evening, a cocktail reception and dinner will follow the golf on Saturday and a buffet lunch and prize giving will round-out proceedings on Sunday afternoon.
Entries are limited to 52 pairs and the combined cost will be £120 (£60 per golfer).

If entries are oversubscribed, the pairs with the highest combined handicap will be balloted out.
Entries close on Monday 17 August.
This includes competition entry, a practice round, a light lunch on Saturday and a buffet lunch on Sunday.
The Friday BBQ will cost £15 and the Saturday reception is £20 per person.
