YONEX CYBERSTAR NANOSPEED 4-SW £849 (g)
Design and Tech Benefits Three head types – forgiving hollow-headed long irons and cavity-back mid irons with feel-enhancing elastomer/graphite inserts, plus more blade-like short irons for added control.
Specs R/H and L/H graphite in regular flex plus R/H only in superlight or stiff. 3-iron also available.
GM VERDICT Concerns about the wedge’s rounded toe and the longer irons’ thick top edges were eclipsed by performance. Wedges felt crisp and reliable though not the longest, and we could have thumped the 4-iron away into the breeze all day with confidence. Great-feeling grips too.
