FootJoy launch Masters-themed HyperFlex shoe
FootJoy, the No.1 shoe brand in golf, has unveiled a special Masters-themed HyperFlex shoe with different coloured left and right shoes inspired by the beauty of Augusta National.
With the year’s first major just days away, FootJoy has unveiled a highly exclusive, limited edition, Augusta-inspired pair of HyperFlex golf shoes.
This unique footwear has been inspired by the prestigious Masters tournament and features an innovative design with different coloured left and right shoes.
FJ Brand Ambassador Hunter Mahan, who first wore HyperFlex at the 2014 Ryder Cup, will compete for a maiden Major victory wearing the Grey/Green and Lime footwear, which display the colours most associated with the legendary golf course that lies at the end of Magnolia Lane.
The FlexGrid 2.0 upper was inspired by the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge in Boston, Massachusetts and is strong enough to keep the foot from rolling laterally during the golf swing but also conforms to the foot, allowing it to flex.
“Our Augusta-inspired HyperFlex is the first example of a golf shoe with uniquely styled left and right shoes, and is a fitting tribute to the first Major Championship of the 2015 golf season,” said Paul O’Hagan, FJ Marketing Executive.
“Closely following the official launch of HyperFlex, the Next Big Thing from FJ, and with only 200 of these shoes available from key retailers, these are sure to be among the most coveted shoes of the year.”
