As the Golf Monthly team stepped onto the TaylorMade Tour van so did the three time Open winner Sir Nick Faldo. Take a look at this video to find out what he was up to...
Whilst Hoylake suffered its first deluge of rain, members of the Golf Monthly team retreated to the TaylorMade Tour van. Always an interesting place to be at any tournament but this week in particular, as players make tweaks to their set-ups to handle the links test, so there is usually an interesting sight or story.
Today’s came when Nick Faldo walked onto the van, picked up a wedge that had been made up for him and ran through the gripping process himself. So keen was he to get exactly the right feel and alignment, he left nothing to chance. Watch the accompanying video and you’ll see just how familiar Sir Nick Faldo is with the process and how to get it right.
