Taylormade Tour Preferred irons review

Clubhouse Golf

A thin topline and shorter head from heel to toe help to create a classic look . The shallow cavity helps distribute weight to the perimeter of the head to increase the moment of inertia (MOI) for extra forgiveness. The sole has softer edges to discourage digging.

These TaylorMade Tour Preferred (TP) irons sit at the opposite end of the scale to the TaylorMade Burner Plus. The flight is far more penetrating and what you loose in forgiveness you make up for in feedback and looks. We found we could shape approach shots with these irons with relative ease. Where next?
