For anyone with an interest in the tradition and history of the game, Worlington is a must visit.
From the feel of the clubhouse to the fascinating nine-hole layout, this is a club that has maintained its heritage perfectly.
That nine holes have been designed in such a small area is impressive in itself, but the fact that they’re so varied and enjoyable makes them a real pleasure to play.
The subtle difficulties are epitomised by the par-3 5th.
At first glance it appears a straightforward short hole, but the long, narrow green is cleverly built up with run-offs that have destroyed many a good score. POH
